The 2006-07 Annual Report has been published and distributed to donors and partners. Click here to view. This document will remain posted on the Publications page of FSC's website for the next year. Extra hard copies are always available at the Administration Building.

This issue of "Internally Yours" is dedicated to the selfless legacy of philanthropy - the giving of time, talent, or treasure - that makes the difference in our organization every day, culminating with the annual Family of the Year award ceremony & luncheon detailed below. Thank you, FSC family and friends, for your generous spirit!
Nearly 300 FSC donors, friends, staff, and volunteers were on hand Friday, May 9th at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club to honor the family of William (Bill) & Hazel Hough for their legacy of philanthropy and service to our community. From a fundraising perspective, this year's event was FSC's most successful ever! But equally significant was the advocacy of FSC's mission, and of children and family issues in general, that we shared among many important partners and supporters.
For over half a century, the generosity of the entire Hough family has had immeasurable impact in the areas of education, the arts, and business throughout the Tampa Bay area.

A SECOND COAT OF PHILANTHROPY
APPLIED!
Last year, our friends at the Pinellas Feathersound Rotary (formerly Rotary Club of Pinellas Bardmoor Bayou) donated time, talent, and treasure to restore the lobby of the Clearwater SAFE Center, and subsequently were honored with FSC's 2007 Volunteers of the Year Award.
This year, the same group of dedicated philanthropists have gone even further by completely revamping and painting the playground area outside the SAFE Center. The ambitious project began in January of this year, and was completed April 12th at a donated cost of $2,623! Here's what was done:
In addition, supporting posts on the fort were left longer in order to accommodate a new roof, which this group will add either this fiscal year or next. What an amazing team!
On behalf of all the children who will benefit from their kindness, we thank the Pinellas Feathersound Rotary from the bottom

TIME, TALENT & TREASURE
Recent examples of 'giving of self' within the FSC family!
On May 20, 2008, FSC Board of Directors member Kerry Kriseman received the Mailande Holland Barton Award for her volunteer service to the St. Petersburg Junior League, Family Service Centers, and to our community! This is the highest award given to an active League volunteer. We congratulate Kerry on this special honor, and appreciate all she does for FSC!
On February 10, 2008, Finance and M.I.S. Specialist Clark Evans, Jr. completed
the Bank of America Gasparilla Marathon in Tampa, covering 26.2 miles in just four hours, 37 minutes! Rumor has it several of those trying to catch up to Clark in this race were waving check requests at him, but were no match for his speed! Clark has already signed up to run the Gulf Beaches Holiday Halfathon (13.1 mi) from
Breaking news: male FSC staff member caught taking pictures in the women's restroom. Ah, I knew that would get your attention! Actually, your friendly neighborhood Communications Director was escorted into the Clearwater admin building ladies room on May 14th to snap a photo of the first of six brand new faucet sets donated by our very own staff accountant, Dale Morrissey (pictured below). Because of this generous gift, all three restrooms in administration are now adorned with beautiful, modern sink areas! Washing our hands has never been so fun! Thanks, Dale!!
